Third Annual “Super Chili Bowl” at Mahoney’s Pub & Grille

All-You-Can-Eat Chili to Benefit the “Bears Offensive Coordinator Search Fund”

(CHICAGO, IL) – It’s a celebration of chili as Mahoney’s Pub & Grille joins forces with Butch McGuire’s for the Third Annual “Super Chili Bowl” on Saturday, February 6 from 12pm to 6pm at Mahoney’s, located at 551 North Ogden Avenue in Chicago.  These two top-tiered chili slingin’ establishments will offer All-You-Can-Eat chili for a $5 donation to a special fund Mahoney’s has created called the “Bears Offensive Coordinator Search Fund”, in hopes of getting a better team in time for next year’s Super Chili Bowl and more importantly, the actual NFL Championship.

There will also be a chili eating contest, and the winner of the contest will be the one who gets to personally deliver the fundraising check to Halas Hall.  Mahoney’s renowned “Ma-Honey’s” will be entertaining the crowd until the Chicago funk cover band Tad Dancin’ http://www.myspace.com/taddancin will take the stage to provide live music for every chili-lovers pleasure.  To top it off, $4 domestic beers and $5 Red Stag whiskey cocktails will be available to wash all the chili down the hatch.  Eat, drink and be merry in an attempt to get the Bears a winning team!
