SHE-NANNIGAN’S COMEDY CHALLENGE

Winner to receive $500 Cash, Plus a Monthly Stand-Up Gig

(CHICAGO, IL) – Have what it takes to do a stand-up routine? Want to win $500 plus a monthly stand-up gig?  Enter She-Nannigan’s Comedy Challenge, a weekly comedy challenge that will pit comics, mano a mano, until there’s just one comic standing! 

She-Nannigan’s House of Beer, located at 16 West Division Street in Chicago, along with a rotating panel of comics from the Chicago comedy circuit, will host and judge She-Nannigan’s Comedy Challenge every Thursday from July 1 through September 23, 2010 at 7pm.

Each comic needs to sign up, in advance, by emailing mattk@rushanddivision.com, and include a photo and any links to videos of their act. Three to five comics will face off weekly, with a 10 - 15 minute set each, and of course there's always the hook if they bomb! One winner each week will advance to one of three semi final rounds. One semifinalist will advance to the finals where three survivors will face off for the money, the job and the title: “Winner of She-Nannigan’s Comedy Challenge”!

Spectators are encouraged to laugh, boo, heckle and imbibe with $10 domestic pitchers and $8 bombs, and $5 Cuervo Gold and Silver Tequila shots.
