WEEKLY “PUP CRAWL” IN WEST TOWN

TO BENEFIT ARFHOUSE OF CHICAGO

An Adoptable Dog Will Be on Every Tuesday Night “Pup Crawl”

(CHICAGO, IL) – Mahoney’s Pub & Grille, home to a dog-friendly patio, has partnered with The Matchbox and J. Patrick’s to host a weekly “Pup Crawl”, sponsored by Mutt Hutt, all to raise money and awareness for ARFhouse of Chicago [http://arfhousechicago.org/], a no kill animal shelter.  This weekly Pup Crawl allows dogs and their owners to socialize together at dog-friendly West Town bars.  Don’t have a dog?  Don’t worry!  An ARFhouse dog available for adoption will join every Pup Crawl!

The Pup Crawl takes places every Tuesday evening (patio weather permitting) starting at 6pm, beginning at The Matchbox, located at 770 North Milwaukee Avenue, where Pup Crawlers may enjoy $6 El Jimador Margaritas and fresh water for the pups.  At 7pm, the Pup Crawl parades over to J. Patrick’s, located at 1367 West Erie Street, where crawlers may imbibe in $3 domestic beer bottles and $5 Skyy flavored vodka Bombs and more fresh water for the pups.  From there, around 8:30, the Pup Crawl will make a pit stop at the dog park of Bickerdike Park, located at Ohio and Bishop where there will be potty breaks, free play and free butt sniffing for all dogs!   The Pup Crawl then makes its way to the home bar, Mahoney’s, around 9pm, at 551 North Ogden.  Mahoney's will donate $1 directly to ARFHouse for each crawler who makes their way to the last stop.  The fun continues at Mahoney’s with Hillbilly Bingo with hilarious prizes, $3 cantina cans of random, cheap beer, $5 Redneck shots (Jameson) and $6 Hillbilly 40’s of more random, cheap beer and a free Tater Tot buffet with all the trimmings!

Participants may register and receive weekly Pup Crawl updates at www.meetup.com keyword search, Pup Crawl, as well as connect with other dog owners in the Pup Crawl.

The event sponsor, Mutt Hutt, who donates much of their dog boarding space to ARFhouse dogs to shelter until their adoption, will sell mugs that may be used on the Pup Crawl for $10.
