Chicago Hot Spots Ringing in New Year’s 2010

(CHICAGO, IL) – New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31, is a time to reflect, look forward and party like it’s Armageddon!  There are no better places to get lost in the debauchery in Chicago than at River Shannon, Mahoney’s Pub & Grille, The Original Mother’s, Bootleggers, The Hangge-Uppe, She-Nannigans, Mother’s Too, Pippin’s Tavern, Streeter’s Tavern and The Lodge Tavern.

River Shannon hosts a “White Trash New Year” featuring $4 24-ounce cans of PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon beer) and a Miller High Life “Champagne of Beers” toast at midnight.  Forget the tuxedo.  Tuxedo t-shirts are cooler.

Mahoney’s Pub & Grille will be open from 9pm to 2am and offer an advanced ticket package of $50 package includes all beer, wine, top-shelf cocktails and soft drinks.  There will also be a food buffet, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. The package excludes shots and Red Bull drinks. Tickets purchased at the door will increase to $60.   

The Original Mother’s will be open from 9pm to 3am and offer three advanced ticket packages:  $50 package includes all beer and wine, $75 package includes all beer, wine, well and call cocktails and $100 package includes all beer, wine and top-shelf cocktails.  All packages exclude shots and Red Bull drinks.  Packages purchased at the door will increase by $10 per person. 

Bootleggers will be open from 10pm to 2am and feature a $50 package which includes all beer, wine, top-shelf cocktails and soft drinks.  There will also an all request DJ, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors. This package also excludes shots and Red Bull drinks.

The Hangge-Uppe will offer a $60 package from 9pm to 2am which will include all beer, wine, well and call cocktails. This package also excludes shots and Red Bull drinks.  

She-Nannigans will offer a champagne toast at midnight with party favors.

Mother’s Too will over no cover charge before 9pm if patrons send a text message to “M2NYE” to “TEXTME” (without the quotation marks) or 839863 (standard text message rates apply). 

Mother’s Too, Pippin’s Tavern, Streeter’s Tavern and The Lodge Tavern patrons will all receive party favors upon arrival.
