MAY/JUNE MUSIC SCHEDULE
(CHICAGO, IL) – Live music at The Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville is heating up with summer fast approaching. June starts off rocking hard with the recently reunited double-platinum band FUEL, the continuation of the Q101 Jamboree opening act search, the finals of the Amatuer Salsa Dance competition, the original gangster of love and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, GEORGE CLINTON & PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC, the good times continue with the Spinal Tap-esque, parody, glam heavy metal band STEEL PANTHER and Robert Plant’s favorite Led Zeppelin tribute band DREAD ZEPPELIN.
The Cubby Bear continues to offer regular weekly music events including Salsa Sundays with a salsa and mambo DJ plus dancing lessons by Latin Street Dancing; Live Band Karaoke every Wednesday where participants are backed up by the band, Rock Band Karaoke, Local Music Showcase every Tuesday; and loads of local, indie bands, often doing free shows, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Cubby Bear’s live music lineup scheduled for May and June is listed below. The items in red are newly announced or updated from the previous release, and there will be more shows to be announced, as well.
