JULY MUSIC SCHEDULE

(CHICAGO, IL) – The Cubby Bear continues to offer live music, seven days a week, including regular weekly music events such as Salsa Sundays with a salsa and mambo DJ plus dancing lessons by Latin Street Dancing; Team Karaoke every Wednesday; Local Music Showcase every Tuesday; and loads of local, indie bands, often doing free shows, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  The Cubby Bear’s live music lineup scheduled the end of June and all of July is listed below.  The items in red are newly announced or updated from previous releases, and there will be more shows to be announced, as well.

Weekly Entertainment in JUNE and JULY 2010:

Sundays: SALSA SUNDAY – The LIVE salsa band is back and better than ever!  Dance lessons at 7pm by Mambo Mike & DJ Frankie J. Free Parking next to the Cubby Bear on Addison Street.  Visit www.LiveSalsaSundays.com for more information. $5 Cover, 6pm – 2am

Tuesdays: LOCAL MUSIC SHOWCASE - Like an open mic, but play with the entire band! Contact cubbyinfo@gmail.com  to sign up. No cover, 8pm

Wednesdays: TEAM KARAOKE – A dance party where you happen to be able to sing, TeamK encourages back up singers, dancers, etc. to schmooze, dance, and sing their heart out.  No Cover, 10pm
