THE CUBBY BEAR CHICAGO

EARLY WINTER MUSIC SCHEDULE

 

(CHICAGO, IL) – Seasoned Chicagoan’s don’t let winter weather keep them from enjoying all that Chicago has to offer – especially when Chicago’s music scene is just heating up!  The Cubby Bear Chicago continues to offer an eclectic mix of live music, including home-grown talent as well as nationally touring acts throughout December 2009 and January 2010.

 

The Cubby Bear’s regular weekly music events include Salsa Sundays with a live salsa and mambo band plus dancing lessons with Latin Street Dancing; Live Band Karaoke every Wednesday where participants are backed up by a live rock band and Local Music Showcase every Tuesday (think quasi open mic night).  The Cubby Bear’s unforgettable early winter lineup for the remainder of December and all of January is listed below.

 

Weekly Entertainment Remainder of December 2009:

Sundays: SALSA SUNDAY - DJ Frankie J spins Salsa, Mambo and Tropical Rhythms all night! Free Parking next to the Cubby Bear on Addison Street… Just tell the attendant you are going to the Salsa Night! $5 cover, 6pm – 2am

Tuesdays: LOCAL MUSIC SHOWCASE - Like an open mic, but you get to play with your entire band! Contact cubbyinfo@gmail.com  to get involved. No cover, 8pm

Wednesdays: ROCK BAND KARAOKE - Sing karaoke with a full band! No cover, 10 pm
