          CHICAGO’S TOP CHEFS AND HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES:  CARRIE NAHABEDIAN, RICK BAYLESS AND JIMMY BANNOS TOGETHER FOR A WORTHY CAUSE

WHO:        Carrie Nahabedian, 2009 Chefs Hall of Fame inductee

                   Rick Bayless, 2008 Chefs Hall of Fame inductee

                   Jimmy Bannos, 2007 Chefs Hall of Fame inductee

WHAT:      GREAT PHOTO OP:   These three superior Chicago chefs will be together to sign commemorative Chefs Hall of Fame chef coats to be auctioned off to raise money for the Chicago Culinary Museum.  The Museum, which is now housed at the oldest culinary school in the country, the Washburne Culinary Institute of Kennedy-King College, was founded in conjunction with the Chefs Hall of Fame to celebrate the culinary Mecca that is Chicago.

                   These chef coats will be auctioned on Tuesday, September 22 at the Union League Club of Chicago when Carrie Nahabedian, the fourth inductee into the Chefs Hall of Fame, will be honored. Mayor Daley has also proclaimed it will be “Carrie Nahabedian Day in Chicago”.  This event also serves as the annual fundraiser for the Chicago Culinary Museum.
